I did not know it had a eclipse plug-in I will have to give that a try, thanks!

Cuong Nguyenntowelzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11253983245163770344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924689018684710969.post-14922959323528425232011-11-14T19:34:23.547-06:002011-11-14T19:34:23.547-06:00CxxTest has an Eclipse plugin? Also, points 1 and 4 are huge for me, I like know what I write works, and sometimes write stuff that works but I'm not sure why (tsk tsk tsk) and writing tests helps me figure it out sometimes.

And I have to say: snazzy graphic!

-Derek AndersonAndersonianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18391496741757642399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924689018684710969.post-85839524070157210442011-11-13T23:39:32.355-06:002011-11-13T23:39:32.355-06:00I like how this blog is straight forward and gets ...I like how this blog is straight forward and gets right to the point. I will have to look into using that CxxTest plugin to help me better take advantage of CxxTest. It would be nice if you would explain some of the points a little more thoroughly though.

Jon AndersonJon Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12751074013314266223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924689018684710969.post-15449258882523225212011-11-12T10:58:23.597-06:002011-11-12T10:58:23.597-06:00I really liked your coverage of cxxTest; I actuall...I really liked your coverage of cxxTest; I actually understand some things better now. And, it shows that you understand it well. I also like how you point out that quick and easy testing can be gratifying, since you get instant feedback and can be reasonably sure that your code is correct if the tests pass. Something positive to keep in mind when deciding whether to write tests or not in addition to the dire predictions of project doom if you don't test.Ian Henckelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06758750324806360453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1924689018684710969.post-74398575434996146622011-11-09T18:04:25.553-06:002011-11-09T18:04:25.553-06:00Graph, bullet points, codes, very good post. For example, I don't get it why "start unit testing early would lead to a better design". I'm assuming you mean a consistent design? Maybe you have omitted some really interesting details.

Zhouyun Fenga programmer who blogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00806702250628171204noreply@blogger.com
